The Perfect Pour Off in New York City

Three of the nation’s top bartenders went toe-to-toe at the WARSTEINER Perfect Pour Off in New York City. The event that began months ago with hundreds of bartenders culminated with the three finalists on the plush rooftop bar at the Citizen M Hotel in mid-town Manhattan. Nothing could have been more perfect.

A perfectly poured WARSTEINER is a work of art and the best way to enjoy the authentic premium German Pilsener. So with a once-in-a-lifetime trip to Berlin, Germany on the line, three top bartenders, as voted by their peers and patrons, put their mastery of the Perfect Pour to the test.

The evening began brimming with anticipation as each bartender made their bid for the coveted prize. When the smoke cleared, Harald Neuweg of Coral Gables, Fla., took home the grand prize, including airfare and hotel accommodations for six days and five nights in Germany, plus $1,000 spending money and a visit to the WARSTEINER brewery.

After the winner was crowned, electric Super-hero of Soul Charles Perry closed out the night and brought down the house with a rousing performance that made for the perfect ending to the Perfect Pour Off.

It was the celebration of a WARSTEINER tradition 260 years in the making. For nine generations the family-owned brewery has always been true to who they are, and WARSTEINER continues to celebrate like-minded individuals who dare to be themselves. Bringing together two originals like Charles Perry and the Citizen M Hotel for the Perfect Pour Off was another success story in a long list of original collaborations.
