Warsteiner Imports Grapefruit Special Edition to U.S. Market Summer Seasonal to Debut in April
WARSTEINER Grapefruit Special Edition is coming to the United States this April. Perfect for warm weather, longer days and yearning warm long days, WARSTEINER Grapefruit Special Edition is a 50/50 blend of grapefruit flavored drink and WARSTEINER Premium German Pilsener, lending itself to high drinkability and a refershing taste. Featuring a reddish-yellow color, WARSTEINER Grapefruit Special Edition delivers a nicely balanced, mildly hoppy taste with a clean, citrus finish.
“WARSTEINER Grapefruit Special Edition is a refreshing and unique addition to the U.S. family of products,” said Laura Sprengard, brand manager for Warsteiner USA. “We’re excited to give our fans the premium pilsener they love with hints of sweetness and a clean citrus twist.”
Grapefruit Special Edition celebrates Radlermass, a German beer that originated in the early 20th century when bicycle riding became a popular pastime. Radlermass was invented by a quick-thinking German innkeeper who had to extend his beer supply by mixing it with lemon soda to quench the thirst of 13,000 cyclists (radler means cyclist in German, mass means liter of beer).
WARSTEINER Grapefruit Special Edition is brewed in Germany with fresh Arnsberg Forest spring water, a special combination of bitter and aromatic Hallertau hops and top-quality brewing barley from well-known German producing regions and Champagne. Warsteiner also has an exclusive bottom-fermenting yeast strain for its wort.
WARSTEINER Grapefruit Special Edition is 2.5 percent ABV and will be available at retail locations in six-pack 11.2 ounce bottles and four-pack 16.9 ounce cans until supplies run out. To find the nearest location, visit the Warsteiner Finder app on Facebook (desktop only).
