1. What is personal data?

– Date and time of the call-up
– IP address of the accessing computer

– Operating system used by the user
– URL of the last page previously called up by the user
– Quantity of the data transmitted
– Status of the call-up (success yes/no)

This data is used by us in order to receive technical or statistical information for the improvement of the website. For instance, faulty links can be identified on the basis of the information about unsuccessful call-ups.

We only collect and use personal data if you notify us of the same upon your registration and/or order, or in the course of the contractual relationship.
In order to register as user you must provide the following data:

– Name (where applicable, company name and person authorised to represent the company)
– E-mail address
– Post code
– Date of birth

Within the scope of your order, we collect the data provided by you and store this in the user account (e.g. address, order data, bank details, credit card data).

These details represent user-related data. We only collect and use user-related data in so far as this is necessary for the establishment, substance or change of a contractual relationship, that is to say, in particular for the processing of your orders and also for invoicing purposes.

Since the products we send include beer, we require your date of birth at each order. Only in this way can we prevent the despatch of beer to persons under age.
In addition, with your consent or in so far as legally admissible, we use your e-mail address in order to inform you of our offers and products or new features in our online shop (e.g. in our newsletter). You have the possibility at all times to revoke your consent to this use of your e-mail address with effect for the future. Your attention is also drawn to the possibility of cancellation in the individual e-mails.

3. Use of cookies, Google Analytics

We use cookies on our website in order to arrange the site attractively and to enable certain functions to be used.
Cookies are text files which are temporarily or permanently stored through the browser of the user on his computer. Through temporary cookies, the uniformity of one communication process is guaranteed. Permanent cookies serve the purpose of recognising a user. For instance, such a permanent cookie is used if the user selects the function “remain logged-in on this computer”. For instance, we pass on your data to the carrier instructed to carry out the delivery in so far as this is necessary for the delivery. All employees of the Warsteiner Brauerei and their vicarious agents are under an obligation to observe data secrecy in so far as they handle personal data.

At the end of the contract and when it has been completely executed, your data will be blocked for further use and deleted following the expiration of any periods prescribed under applicable tax or commercial law provisions unless you have declared your consent to the further use of your data.

The Warsteiner Brauerei issues information promptly and free of charge concerning the data stored in relation to the person making the enquiry, upon request electronically or in writing.
